Message from the Principal
-Neranja Jayananda
It is with immense pride and a deep sense of gratitude that I address you today as the Principal of President's College, Maharagama. For 48 years, our college has stood as a proud institution of learning, shaping young minds and building character, discipline, and excellence in every student who has walked through its gates.
I warmly welcome you to our newly designed website, a platform that reflects the same spirit of growth and progress that has defined our journey since our founding. As Principal, it gives me great joy to open this digital window into the life, achievements, and aspirations of our beloved college.
Over the decades, President's College, Maharagama has built a rich legacy in academics, sports, and a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular pursuits. We have had the privilege of guiding generations of students, many of whom have gone on to achieve remarkable success and bring honour to our school in fields ranging from scholarship to sport to service. This website stands as a reflection of our determination to move forward with the times, without ever losing sight of the values, traditions, and sense of community that have always defined who we are.
Within these pages, you will find a comprehensive picture of our academic divisions, our vibrant clubs and societies, our sporting achievements, and the many facets of school life that make President's College a true home for every student. It is our sincere hope that this platform becomes more than just a source of information — that it grows into a living bridge connecting our school with students, parents, alumni, and well-wishers alike, fostering closer ties and a stronger shared sense of purpose.
I extend a heartfelt invitation to every student, parent, past pupil, and friend of this college to join us as we look back on our achievements with pride and look ahead to the future with hope and determination. Together, let us continue to uphold President's College, Maharagama as a shining centre of knowledge, character, and pride for generations yet to come.
